About Us
The Global Leadership Connection brings together youth leaders dedicated to ethical conduct, academic excellence and compassionate service.

Our Mission is to inspire student leaders to develop spiritually, morally and socially.

The challenging leadership seminars connect youth leaders to each other, to colleges and to adult leaders in the community, in the nation, and around the globe. We believe that young people are our greatest natural resource and the positive relationships they make enhance their lives. They are the hope of our future.

Completing the Global Leadership Connection application (including a resume and essay questions), sharing in a personal interview, participating in the interactive leadership days, and attendance at the Scholarship/Awards Ceremony is required to be eligible to receive a financial scholarship.
A GLC Male and Female "Youth Leader of the Year" will be selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship to a college of their choice. Two-four students will receive a $500 scholarship and ten students will receive $100 scholarships. Each participating student will be recognized and will receive a certificate. The top 4-6 students will be given an all expenses paid trip to Washington, D.C. to attend a Global Leadership Experience on our nation's capital.

GLC (a 501c.3 non-profit corporation) is organized for the charitable purpose of furthering global education and leadership for today’s youth. It is designed as follows:

Executive/Endowment Global Board - Policy making, fund-raising body of three members

Global Advisory Board - Members identifying financial support, connections and inspiring speakers for the leadership seminars

Executive Director - Volunteer coordination

Leadership Team - Adult volunteers committed to making a positive difference in young people's lives. Through seminars, interviews, scholarships and awards, they recognize and appreciate young people who have made a significant difference. Through their connections and financial support they stimulate and encourage talented young people.

Nomination Team - an individual (school's choice-may be a principal, counselor, teacher, or parent) from each participating high school. Their responsibility:
  • liaise to the GLC Executive Director and Leadership Team
  • communicate with the school, administration, faculty, parents and students
  • nominate students for the leadership conference and scholarships
  • interview students
  • attend GLC Awards Program
Students nominated are high school juniors dedicated to ethical conduct, academic standards and compassionate service. They are respectful and appreciative of self, family, their school, their community and the world. Being the true leaders in their school, they are students who:
  • take initiative
  • volunteer and give back
  • are elected or selected into leadership positions by their peers or adults
  • stand out as someone that should be recognized for their tremendous leadership contributions
There is no cost to the student, their family or the high schools they represent. 100% of all financial donations go to scholarships, student leadership seminars and the Global Leadership Conference.
